That meant we spending Christmas day in bed. Literally, I spent almost all of Christmas day in my jammies watching the water and Christmas movies. With most of Seattle closed, we couldn't do a lot. We could have gone sightseeing, but we thought laying around would be better-- and it was.
The one thing we did have planned that day was dinner at the Space Needle and I'm so glad we did. Miles made our reservations for 4pm which meant we would be able to see Seattle in daylight, sunset, and at nighttime. Needless to say, the views were amazing and dinner, a three-course meal, was worth every penny we spent (which was a lot).

this sounds amazing! you are really making me want to go to seattle more and more with every post about it! :) i think it's so special to do things like this that you ordinarily wouldn't do, regardless of the cost. my sister and i did something similar to celebrate our birthday together a couple months ago, we went to a dinner at a local pub that was offering 5 courses each with beer pairings from one of our favorite local breweries. it was expensive but it felt good to try something different.
ReplyDeleteOh that is sooo cool! What was your favorite thing about Seatle? Btw, I have a book recommendation, but I need to be back at home to see the author! I am only half way through but its REALLY GOOD :D Its a sweedish author. Not sure if you have ever read it but its one of the criminal type of books. Pretty sweet :D
